Let us now lift them up in prayer as they discern thier co-rectors and then begin to discern the team that God is calling.

God is good to all who put thier Faith and belief in Him. The weekends for 2009 have been completed and we have as a community been blessed with 22 new men and 31 new women Cursillista's to continue the responsibiltiy of Making a Friend, Being a Friend, and Bringing that Friend to Christ. It is our response to the Grace that is given to us through the Lord who sacrificed Himself so that we could have eternal life. As in the Transfigureation He tells the apostles "This is my beloved Son Listen to Him" We on our weekends are also transformed to New Life and our hearts are burning inside to SHARE the GODD NEWS.

Remember that as a community it is our responsibility to make a friend, be a friend and bring that friend to Christ. Let us begin to plant those seed in those we have lifted in prayer to ask to go on a weekend. We are Christ hands, his feet, and his voice let us evangalize our environments as Christ has empowered us to do.

We know that in all cases God makes it possible for us to continue to serve His people in the capacity that we need but we need all the help we can get from the community. Cursillo Core Meeting Summary
Sept. 15, 2009

  • The treasures report was given and approved. The balance as of Sept. 15, 2009 is $2,308.93.
  • The kitchen committee has updated the kitchen team manual and it will be given to both the men and woman’s team kitchen coordinators.
  • All is going well for the men’s and ladies teams. Please continue to seek candidates for both weekends.
  • It is that time of year again when we must submit our $400. annual dues to the National Cursillo.
  • Due to work commitments one of our current core members needs to step down.  Deacon Edgar and Deacon John will begin discernment for a new Hispanic male to take a place on the core team.
